Wednesday 8/15 Training
Deadlift, 5/3/1 Week 1 rep scheme, top set 390 lbs x 10 (strapped)
HB Back Squat 350 lbs 4×3
Z Press 135 lbs 3×5
Today’s training felt great. I got the 10 reps I was gunning for deadlifting, I got an extra triple squatting, and Z presses really seemed to take a lot of the strain off my elbow and wrist while still hitting my shoulders pretty hard. I think I’m going to swap out push presses for Z presses for a while to let my right arm recover. If they’re good enough for Zydrunas Savickas, they’re good enough for me.
