Snatch Grip Press 140 lbs x 5, 4, 4
Clean & Press 185 lbs x 2, 200 lbs x 1, 215 lbs x 0, 175 lbs 3 x 5
“Cheat” Rows 315 lbs 3 x 5
Decent work, made progress with snatch grip pressing. 215 lbs would have been a strict press PR, but it got stuck right around forehead level. That forced me to stop and consider some things training wise. Specifically I’ve done all of my pressing rep work in a touch-n-go manner, using the stretch reflex big time after the first rep. That has to stop. The 175 lb reps were all from a dead stop, and boy do my shoulders feel it.
