Tuesday 11/19 Training

Paused Clean & Press 185 lbs x 5, 5, 3, 2

Turns out, if you’re not great at a movement, trying a more advanced version of that movement will really just compound the shittiness. Example: I’m not good at Olympic movements. I’d also like to improve the explosiveness of my pulls. To that end, I decided to try adding a pause at the knee in my light power cleans. However, since I pull way too much with my arms anyway, that just wound up putting a ton of tension on my bicep tendons which were absolutely screaming after I finished up. Live and learn I guess.
